Open Science

Open, reliable and reproducible research

Open data & code

Data and analysis code accompanying my papers are deposited in public repositories and linked from each article, so results can be checked and reused.

Reproducibility

I contribute to testing and improving data- and code-archiving standards across the British Ecological Society journals.

Community

I take part in working groups and special interest groups that push ecology and evolutionary biology towards open, reliable and transparent practice.

Guidance

Writing the data-sharing guidance for the British Ecological Society

I am the author of the Data sharing chapter of the British Ecological Society guide to Data Management, a practical handbook written for ecologists who want to make their data findable, reusable and properly credited.
