Plant Evolutionary Ecologist
Lucrezia Laccetti
Postdoctoral Researcher
I study how local adaptation, phenotypic plasticity and habitat fragmentation interact to shape plant resilience in a rapidly changing world. My work combines field ecology, common-garden experiments and genomics, with a particular focus on Mediterranean wild plants inhabiting extreme environments. I hold a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Naples Federico II and am currently based at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, working on the evolutionary changes in endemic cliff plants.
